Aunt Sue's Tea Room ~ June 21st
On Saturday after the garden tour, my daughter and I went to Aunt Sue's Tea Room in Marion.

My daughter, Christy.
The main tea room (after it had cleared out). We actually had to wait on a table when we arrived.
And while we waited we looked around upstairs in the gift shop which had several antiques, and of course, tea related items.
My daughter's favorite scripture from the Bible, Psalms 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God".
Off of the menu we chose the lite tea which included scones with devonshire cream and lemon curd, assorted finger sandwiches, fruit and yummy sweets. Christy had the Bourbon Street Vanilla Rooibos tea and I, Sunshine Lemon Rooibos. Rooibos is a South African herb ((pronounced “Roy-boss”), botanical name Aspalathus linearis.
A large selection of tea you can purchase. I bought a couple packets of spiced chai and red tea.
Hollyhocks in the back yard at Aunt Sue's.

After we left Aunt Sue's Tea Room, we went to the Mississinewa River Walk which was only a couple blocks away.
